Stag beetle larvae specific flake soil designed for the majority of stag larvae in the hobby. (Please check to see if your larva requires specialty substrates.) This flake is made with an oak blend base with additives including wheat bran, and trehalose.
Comes in a gallon bag or in ultra clear PET plastic deli containers perfect for your beetle larvae. Just air out flake, punch holes in lid with a thumbtack (8-12 holes should suffice) and add larvae. (With a small amount of the flake soil they're already in.)
8 oz. is good for fresh L1 to early L2 for most species. 16 oz. for L2 (or even L3-pupation for small beetle species.) 32 oz. for L3 for many species. Keep in mind that larger beetle species will require larger containers.
