Care and Community

Beetle keeping is relatively new in the United States when referring to exotic species.  That said, Asian countries like Japan, Korea, Taiwan, and China, among others, have been keeping beetles and other invertebrates as pets for a while.  As a relatively new hobby in the States some friends and I launched a new beetle keeping Discord server to help educate new keepers, promote the hobby, and provide community for fellow beetle enthusiasts.  Please consider joining The Coleoptera Corner Discord server by clicking this link and join our community!

The Coleoptera Corner is a great place to learn about the basics, as well as the more advanced issues in keeping beetles.  We have care guides for individual species, how-to guides on making flake soil and kinshi, info on pinning specimens and collecting, a vibrant community of enthusiasts, entomologists, and vendors, and often hold giveaways and promotions!  I highly recommend joining if you'd like to learn more about keeping beetles or just want to hang out and chat with other enthusiasts.  See you there!
