AKIbeetles is a proud distrubutor of GeorgiaBeetles BB flake soil. This flake soil is suitable for rhino and flower beetles as well as millipedes and isopods. Comes in a gallon bag or in ultra clear PET plastic deli containers perfect for your beetle larvae. Just air out flake, punch holes in lid with a thumbtack (8-12 holes should suffice) and add larvae. (With a small amount of the flake soil they're already in.)
8 oz. is good for fresh L1 to early L2 for most species. 16 oz. for L2 (or even L3-pupation for small beetle species.) 32 oz. for L3 for many species. Keep in mind that larger beetle species will require larger containers.
