Fascinating Stag Beetles by Watakuwa

Fascinating Stag Beetles is one of the best visual reference books that I've seen.  It contains 137 full color pages with extremely high quality photos of over 100 species of stag beetles. Although the text is mostly in Japanese, the scientific latin names of the species are all readable as well as their size ranges for both male and female of the species.  The book also has a star ranking system for breeding difficulty and the difficulty in obtaining that particular species in Japan.  There is also information on the best temperature range for rearing each particular species.  In addition, there are many species with a QR code link to additional reference videos on YouTube on that particular species.  The book was published in 2025 so the information is up to date.
